Speed enforcement day
The police are planning another Speed Enforcement Day in Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter and the surrounding villages, on November 26.
PC Jim Clarke said that last year's speed Enforcement Day was very successful, with several drivers caught speeding, including one driver who was caught in three different villages on the same day.
He said that speeding has been highlighted as a priority by both the Chalfont St Peter and Hundreds Neighbourhood Action Groups (NAGs) and that all villages have 30mph signs which are clearly visible.
"The police commitment is to support the NAGs and address the priorities set by them. We spend the day educating motorists," he said.
