A CAR crashed into a wall in sub zero temperatures in the early hours of Tuesday morning (30/12).
Two men were injured, and one had to be cut out by fire fighters who were called to the smash in Nightingale Lane, Chalfonts St Giles, at 1.25 am.
Both were taken by ambulance to Stoke Mandiville Hospital.

Two fire crews were called to a car accident in Nightingales Lane, near the junction with Roughwood Lane, at 10.17pm on December 22.
A spokesman for Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that five adults managed to free themselves from their car before the crews arrived and that no one was hurt. It is believed that the car collided with a tree.

Scannappeal, based at Amersham Hospital, is running its third annual sponsored slim in aid of its Cancer Fighting Fund. This Appeal is for state-of-the-art equipment to detect cancer, and for the treatment of cancer patients in the Buckinghamshire area.
Svetla Hutchinson, is a sales assistant at Vom Fass, a shop which sells luxury olive oil and liqueur personalised gifts, in High Street, Chalfont St Giles.
Q: What sort of things do you sell?
A: We sell extra virgin olive oils and vinegar, brandies, whiskies, rum and cocktails. Also we have wine with 24 carat gold flakes inside. It's all imported from places such as Italy, France, Morocco, South Africa, Greece. Everything we have is the best quality. The top whiskey single malt is 24 years old.
Fiona Harnett has lived in Chalfont St Giles for the past 2 years having moved there from Ealing. We caught up with her to talk about life in the village.
What do you like about Chalfont St Giles?
I like the pace of life here. That was partly why we chose to move here. It is a very nice, picturesque village and I like the fact that it is in the countryside but also quite close to London.

The Chalfont St Giles youth club is looking to expand to make sure all youngsters have something to do in the village.
Youth leader Suizan Jefferson said the club, which meets in Narcot Lane on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, wants to recruit a teacher of hip-hop and street dancing after the success of a previous dance course.
Sausages made on Flexmore Farm have won 1st and 2nd prizes in the British Pig Association pedigree national sausage championship, held on December 6 by the Royal Smithfield Christmas Show in Shepton Mallet.
Vicky and Stephen Hinds, who make the sausages from their own rare breed Berkshire pigs, said they were "totally surprised and delighted" when they heard by phone that they had won two such prestigious accolades.

Residents have reacted angrily to an application for an off-licence in St Giles Walk, High Street, Chalfont St Giles, arguing that it will encourage anti-social behaviour and damage trade for other businesses.
Chalfont St Giles parish council has also objected on the grounds that it could encourage crime, create public nuisance and harm children.
Pupils from Chalfont St Giles Junior School celebrated the festive season with their very own Christmas fair.
Around £4,000 was raised during the event on Friday, December 12, which saw a number of stalls on offer including splat-the-rat, pin-the-nose-on Rudolph, hook-a-bauble, beat-the-buzzer and 'feely boxes' containing mystery items to touch.
Worshippers at Chalfont St Giles parish church donated enough toys to fill eight large bin liners at their toy service on Sunday, December 14.
The toys were given to the Slough Refugee Support centre. Rev Tim Stacey, vicar, said: "I was so thrilled at being able to take eight bin liners full of toys to the centre. You should have seen their faces."
