CSG-Fire.jpgFire tore through a used car premises in Chalfont St Giles today damaging three quarters of a family business that has taken 25 years to create.
Three fire crews were called to the blaze at NDG Motor Company on Hill Farm Lane industrial estate, just after 2am today (17/3).
An estimated 70 per cent of the business has been destroyed.

Terry Gray, owner of NDG, was unavailable for comment. His son-in-law Adam Adamou, 36, of Penn, said the family was "absolutely gutted" by the incident.
"My father-in-law has been here for 25 years. It's horrible, we have just spent three weeks and £2000 refurbishing the place," said Mr Adamou.
"It's a fantastic place to work and everyone is upset.
"We now have a horrendous clean-up operation which will take about four months."
John Bull, station manager at High Wycombe fire station, described the fire as "a dynamic, fast-moving job."
He said: "The problem was caused by an acetyline cylinder used for welding.
"Numerous cars were severely damaged by fire, as well as the repair workshop."
Mr Bull confirmed that a 200 metre exclusion zone had been set up around the site, which would remain in place for 24 hours.
Mr Bull said: "The cylinder is not yet safe. When it is, we will send a fire investigation officer and police officer in to do a joint investigation."
Sally Burdett, who lives in Bottrells Lane, said that she was woken up just before 3am by the smell of smoke and what she thought was the sound of gas bottles exploding.
"My dogs were restless and I went downstairs. I saw flames leaping up in the sky and heard explosions," said Mrs Burdett.
"Thank goodness no one was hurt, which they could have been in the daytime."
PCSO Isabel Brennan confirmed that 70 per cent of the single-storey building had been damaged and that there is no suggestion that arson was involved.
Mr Adamou said that Portacabins would be delivered to the site within 24 hours and that it would be "business as usual."
