Dictionaries donated to schools

PUPILS throughout Gerrards Cross and the Chalfonts should see their vocabularies improving after having been given copies of dictionaries.
Rotary clubs across the area donated the books to the schools, and there will now be a copy of the Usborne Illustrated Dictionary in the library of each school.

Presentations have been made at Moreland Drive School in Gerrards Cross, Chalfont St Giles Junior School and Tilehouse School in Denham.
There are also set to be donations at a further four schools in Chalfont St Peter and Seer Green.
Nigel Blackburn, president of the rotary club of Misbourne Matins, said: "We are very pleased to be able to serve our community in this way and we hope to be able to make similar contributions in future years."
