Swine flu continues to spread

SWINE flu has continued to spread across the area, with more cases reported at a number of different schools.
Last week, the Advertiser reported that a case of the illness had been confirmed at Maltman's Green School in Gerrards Cross, and that a letter had been sent to parents, giving them the choice of whether to continue sending their children to school.

On Friday last week, it was reported that Gayhurst School in Gerrards Cross had also written to parents informing them that there had been a case confirmed at the school.
Since then, Dr Challoner's Grammar School and Dr Challoner's High School have also seen pupils contract the illness, and have also informed parents.
They have said that any child showing symptoms of the illness will be separated from others until their parents are able to come to the school and take them home.
Schools across the area are not closing because of the pandemic, and are recommending that pupils without the illness continue to come to school as normal.

We'd like to hear from you.
